recently arrived

confabulating
in the bardo
so self-aware
or the little child
you carry inside
from not
that long ago
who whispers
through the noise
how forgiveness
is all you have to offer
but for now
it's just the
business associate
assigned to curate
tedium opening the sound
and video portion
of consensus
just words on another
innocuous banner
on the screen
hiding the
mystical and meta-
phys-
i-
cal
that you
absentmindedly
stare at while
you wait
and
wait and
wait for
the presentation
as you
epilate
a stray hair
or two

clip
